Letter from the President

To our community, donors, and supporters,

It brings me great joy to present to our stakeholders the 2025 Annual Report for the MEAD Program.  This is an outreach ministry that is very near and dear to my heart.  So many have supported this mission for years and I am eternally grateful for your support in this journey.

​

The  MEAD Program has a proven success rate of 4:4.  Every recipient of the award has excelled through college to completion of a Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university or college.  Each of the recipients attest to the relief and the amount of flexibility of having a virtually worry-free mode of transportation provided while in college.

​

The MEAD Dream Team took a hiatus to assess our program and to find ways to improve upon its success.  The result of our findings left us in awe.  The statistics revealed that our children were being afforded even less of an opportunity to go to college with the employment rate amongst high school graduates increasing and the college admissions going down.

I began receiving calls and messages from various students around the city asking when we were going to restart the program.  If the students were reaching out, this had to be important!  I contacted the team and conveyed the messages.  The MEAD Dream Team responded with the very fire and zeal as day one of the first car giveaway.  Here we are today!  Working to make a child’s dream of going to college!
